Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vestix platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Vestix provides cloud-based property management software for independent landlords and property managers. Features include lease management, rent collection via Stripe Connect, maintenance tracking, and document storage.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Each account is provisioned as a separate tenant. Data from different tenants is logically isolated and not accessible to other tenants.

4. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled.

Free trials are 14 days. No credit card is required for a trial. At the end of a trial, the account transitions to a free tier with limited functionality unless a paid plan is selected.

5. Your Data

You own the data you enter into Vestix. We process it only to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may export your data at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days for export purposes, then deleted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable law, infringe third-party rights, transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vestix's liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or for non-payment, with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
